David Banks #5
Last Friday, our group started to shoot footage of Brother Benno. While we were there we assigned different roles to each one of the members of the group. I was in charge of B-role, while Shaun had the other camera and captured the interviews. Rhianna and Jane asked the interview questions and did a really good job as they were able to get lots of information from the volunteers. The first person we interviewed was Pelon, a volunteer who as been working there for about two years. He was very enthusiastic about the interview and gave us a lot of useful information. The second person we interviewed was the owner of Brother Benno, Harold. He had a lot to say, almost too much information, but the more the better. He was really getting into depth about the organization and gave us a list of the different programs that they serve at Brother Benno. However, while we were shooting Harold a lot of different occurances happened that were problematic for our footage such as the phone rang and people kept coming in and out of the doors. Another problem we had once we captured the footage onto FCP was that the audio was too low of Harold. Overall I would say our first day of shooting was successful but we now know what we need to do for next time!!
