Jane Pereda #5

This last Friday, March 12th, we finally got to do some shooting,  thanks to Rhianna, who talked to Mary as she was going on vacation and it sounded like we weren't going to be able to.  We are somewhat limited in times we have available to shoot, as we can mostly shoot mornings and most of us have class too, so we really have to be quick and ready to go, as I learned this past Friday.  We couldn't do any shooting as breakfast was happening from 6-8:30 am, so we arrived at about 8:45, to start.  Then we were further limited as the recovery program individuals have lunch from 11-11:30am, and again, no shooting allowed, and Pelon, who is one of the individuals we wanted to interview who was in the recovery program and is now kitchen manager, was going to cook lunch.  Also, it seemed like they were replacing the doors to their walk-in as well, which is right next to the kitchen were we were going to interview Pelon.  Despite these hindrances, I think we did really well, and I think we captured some excellent footage.  We even got lucky as Harold Kutler was present that day and we went ahead and interviewed him.  We also met Liz, another volunteer, who was very friendly and willing to interview as well.  I am looking forward to going over our footage tomorrow.
